Job Description

DPR Construction is a forward-thinking international general contractor and construction manager, specializing in technically complex and sustainable projects for the advanced technology/mission critical, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets. DPR Europe is well-established on the European market in the construction of data centers since several years. Besides having the European central office in Amsterdam, DPR is operating in various countries within Europe with current ongoing projects in Germany, Switzerland and Denmark.

The Global Mobility Advisor is responsible for taking care of our travelers/movers to Switzerland, either permanent or regular, including overseeing, administering and advising on all related documentation and processes.

We are looking to employ a self-driven, hands-on person who loves to work in an international, diverse environment and wants to become an integral part of our amazing HR team. As we have a lot going on, prioritization and oversight will be needed, besides being an expert in handling administrative aspects around employees’ working internally, but also keeping employees engaged throughout the process and providing them the guidance required through these challenging periods.

Roles and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance on our Swiss job sites by having all necessary work permit documentation in place for our secondees and employees
- Be the first point of contact to deal with any assignment or business travel related queries regarding immigration or social security throughout the business for travels to Switzerland
- Explaining global mobility policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
- Supervision of our relocation agency in terms of setting the framework of services provided and ongoing support quality
- Ensure that global mobility processes are embedded within the organization at an international level
- Identify, analyze, and improve the existing mobility processes within the organization
- Align closely with other departments to optimize stakeholder management
- Continue to build on an ‘employee centric’ approach for all global mobility processes
- Organize and maintain personnel data and ensure the relevant HR databases, including our HR system Workday, are up to date, accurate and comply with legislation
- Participate in global mobility and HR related projects
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures

Desired skills & experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Global Mobility, HR or in a similar role
- University degree in global mobility, HR management, business administration, or other related fields
- Experience with Swiss immigration law, such as residence and visa/work processes, A1s
- Languages: fluent German and English (written/orally) are required, French would be an advantage
- Work experience in international companies
