**Key responsibilities**:

- Responsible for driving the revenue and profitability for allocated Business (Region, Account, Asset)
- Execute on the Microbial BSR Strategy related to assigned assets. Drives and accountable for P&L
- Responsible for management of clients’ products and profitability against target associated with assigned assets.
- Active contribution in the Proposal process in collaboration with Sales and Proposals. For allocated Opportunities responsible to prepare the proposal aligned with SME’s and Sales in CPQ.
- Active contribution to establish BU Marketing Strategy.
- Establishes pricing strategy and contractual terms for new MSAs and contract extensions.
- Works with Supply Chain and Demand planners to balance client forecasts, expectations and market demands.
- Provide communications across regions on major competitor activities, branding strategies, key market drivers, innovation projects
- Provide support for and manage the annual global strategic planning process for long term business case submission
- Support the translation and execution of the overall strategy into tactical plans to achieve the Business Unit's goals and objectives
- Drive and develop business offerings and business models through deep understanding of the market, customers’’ needs and competition
- Identifies competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts, or redrafts the Business Unit's marketing plan and philosophy accordingly
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with critical scientific stakeholders in our target market segment to create alternative customer engagement channels
- Work closely with Sales and BU teams in formulating and presenting compelling customer value propositions to maximize probability of securing new business
- Utilize market intelligence data to compose Sales target lists of customers and programs that fit with the defined assets and financial growth strategies
- Facilitate the synchronization of the base and growth businesses to enable the seamless introduction of new assets into the network while ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritized

**Key requirements**:

- Thorough understanding of business processes in the pharmaceutical industry, desirable in the CDMO environment, like Supply Chain/Materials Management/Logistics,
- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical Operations and Quality understanding, Project Management (preferably operations and IT/OT projects) Regulatory, GMP, Product Life Cycle Management.
- Able to develop, deploy and implement a global SC strategy in the entire LPBN organization including change management, continuous improvement and process re-design.
- Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing business environment within a complex matrix structure
- Experience with change management and Ability to lead a large operations group through change process and maintaining the operational performance
- At least 10 years in a managerial capacity within a large international organization.
- Managerial and operational experience obtained through leading teams/functions in production sites, markets/ affiliates and global functions.
