**EMBA Career Lead**

**The Job's Mission**

The purpose of this role is to design and deliver a comprehensive career curriculum and coaching programme for EMBA participants.

**Key Activities & Accountabilities**

**Design & Delivery**:

- Design and deliver a comprehensive career curriculum covering, inter-alia, CVs; cover letters; job search strategy; networking; executive search; interviews; offer negotiation.
- Design and deliver a comprehensive career coaching programme covering, inter-alia, self-awareness and reflection; identification of transferable skills, workstyle preferences, strengths, weaknesses and knowledge gaps; role and function preferences and suitability.
- Identify and organise career insight opportunities through alumni, external speakers and relevant providers.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with EMBA programme office to ensure careers is integral to the EMBA programme and seamlessly delivered.
- Collaborate with MBA Career Lead to ensure shared best practice, consistency in CDC messaging and to leverage cross-programme efficiencies and benefits in delivery and learning.
- Collaborate with Employer Relations team to ensure career and networking opportunities are identified and materialised for EMBA participants.
- Collaborate with Alumni and Alumni Engagement team to secure networking opportunities for participants.

**Administration**:

- Ensure career progression and coaching notes are collated and recorded for all EMBA participants.
- Manage EMBA careers budget.
- General administration as required.

**X-School Engagement**:

- Participate in x-School and community events.

**Experience**:

- Significant demonstrable experience and track record in supporting working professionals in their career and professional development, preferably within a business school environment.

**Competencies**:

- Fluent English (spoken and written) - superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in business careers and an understanding of the needs and concerns of a diverse cohort of EMBA participants.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, as well as with students, participants, alumni, faculty and corporate contacts.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, and able to deal with ambiguity.
- Professional demeanour, including tact, discretion, with a track record of establishing positive client relationships.
