Cyber Security Defense Manager

MSC Cruises’ Cyber Security department is recruiting a
- Bachelor or Masters’ degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or equivalent;
- Fluent English. Any other European language is an advantage;
- 5+ years of experience in leading teams in similar roles;
- Completed University Cyber Security courses with a focus on security of infrastructure, cloud and networks;
- Good Knowledge of operating systems’ administration and of network security technologies;
- Knowledge of and experience with the design and implementation of security solutions and architecture;
- Good knowledge about Cyber Security Solutions (SEG, Web Proxy, EDR, NDR, etc);
- Ability to document technical analysis and articulate outcomes to non-technical audiences;
- Available to support on call operation activities during non-standard working hours;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to report effectively and presenting impactfully to management;
- Adaptable individual and Team player.
- Coordinate Cyber Security platform updates, rollouts, patching and planning with other technology stakeholders;
- Coordinate and manage the change management process of the Cyber Security platforms;
- Manage the Cyber Security Defense team and service suppliers;
- Serve as primary technical contact and platform owner for Cyber Security solutions. Support Help Desk team with senior level escalation responsibilities when needed;
- Participate in the IT Change Management process and regularly scheduled maintenance windows, including after-hours change windows;
- Build and coach teams to be better technology and security practitioners with integrity.

The fleet's average age is 7 years, the youngest in the industry. In 2014, MSC Cruises launched a euro 9 billion, 10 year investment plan to support the second phase of its growth through the order of up to 11 next generation mega cruise ships. As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year. MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude.
