**Global Commodity Manager Electronics (f/m/d)**

- Define commodity strategy and implementation plan and working with global procurement teams
- Create alignment and full commitment with stakeholders, such as R&D, production and quality department on all levels within the company for commodity strategy
- Analyse relevant procurement markets, technology trends, performance of existing suppliers, cost developments and procurement risks at regular intervals and derive action plans
- You lead interdisciplinary project teams and are responsible for the fulfilment of the project goals
- Lead supplier communications, including sourcing event invitations, issue resolution, pricing terms negotiations and contracting.
- Manage the major supplier accounts within electronics category
- Maintain supplier relations through periodic meetings and management reviews, audits and site meetings
- Support escalations towards suppliers on request of the local buyers
- Responsible for Approved Vendor List (AVL) management within electronics category

**This is you**:

- Bachelor degree in electronic engineering field is required. An advanced business degree is preferred
- 8 plus years purchasing experience, preferably in related industries and in a global setting
- Proven experience as category manager or similar role
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Able to influence people with excellent communication skills in English and German
- Entrepreneurial mindset
