Internship Energy System Engineering

Green Energy Venture, part of oe energy, is a consulting and service company operating along the renewable energy value chain. We have been connecting technology and financial markets on three continents for over two decades. Our fields of expertise are engineering, transaction management, TA (Technical Advisory) and high-level strategic advisory services, which are necessary for the realization of projects in renewable energies. We are currently moving more than 8 GW in our internal projects - from their development to grid connection along our core competencies.
Tasks
- Energy balance modelling of Hybrid Renewable plants with Battery Storage, component sizing
- Hydrogen production and storage plants modelling and sizing
- Economic modelling and feasibility evaluation of high-tech concepts along the renewable value chain between generation, storage and grid with a focus on PV, Wind and Battery Storage.
- Technoeconomic assessment of different design cases to determine the best technology and design for a given case and interest
- Establishment of documentation and presentations for banks, investors and other entities involved
- Drawing up construction plans for renewable power plants and revision and control of such plans
- Electrical design and cable loss calculations for renewable power plants
- Conduction of energy yield assessments by means of PVsyst, WindPRO and WaSP
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in renewable energy engineering or currently working on a master's degree in the field of engineering at a Swiss university
- A residence as well as work permit in Switzerland
- First working experience is a plus
- Knowledge of latest generation technologies along with renewable energies
- Ability to operate independently AutoCAD, PVSyst, WindPro, Homer Pro. Knowledge of Python, EPLAN, MATLAB, and other simulation tools is valued
- Good knowledge of English and German (mandatory)
- Well-structured, organized, and service-oriented way of working
- Quick comprehension and independent working
- Interest in working in an international and dynamic environment
