The Cloud Solution Architect is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our partners. You will play a critical role in working with the leadership from our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners to align their technology roadmaps with Microsoft's technology, working with them to build new solutions that enable customers to realize their vision of Digital Transformation.

**Responsibilities**:
Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) play a critical role in working with partners to provide deep technical support through solution build and first mile customer engagements such as Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons. The CSA builds relationships with partner technical and development resources, designing and architecting new solutions based on Microsoft’s cloud platform and technologies.

**Key areas of responsibility**:
- **Understanding Partner Technical Environment. **Identifies and evaluates industry trends, and jointly develops technical enablement plan with partner. Maintains technical skills and knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- **
Solution/Offer/Practice Development. **Leads execution of architectural engagements, such as Technical Briefings, Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions, and Hackathons with the goal of defining and bringing new solutions, offers and/or practices to market.
- **
Trusted Advisor**. **Develops and expands existing impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders.
- **
Thought Leadership**. **Leads the direction that internal team members and stakeholders take by sharing ideas, insight, and strategic, technical input across boundaries.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Understanding Partner Technical Environment: Adept at gathering partner insights and mapping architecture and digital transformation solutions to partner business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging computing trends.
- Thought Leadership: Ability to share strong insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams and internal communities
- Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
- Relationship Building: Proven track record of building deep technical/sales relationships with CXOs in strategic ISV (Independent Software Vendor)
**Solid **experience in the following technologies:
- Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration, API management, microservice frameworks etc.
Container orchestration
- Continuous integration technologies
- One or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive;
- Experience using integrated development environments (e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, XCode, WebSphere)
- Infrastructure Technologies (e.g., Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.), Migration Techniques, and Resiliency
- Additionally, good experience in Application Security, GitHub, Databases would be advantageous
**EDUCATION**
