As a Data Engineering Intern in the Hydro Data Analytics Team, you will work on building data products that take the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants to the next level. You will be part of a small cross-functional team that owns the entire product from the sensor in the power plant via the analytics workloads running in the cloud to the frontend presenting actionable insights. As we are still a young and growing team there are a lot of opportunities to take responsibility and design solutions from the ground up.

**What you will do**:

- You build ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- You design and implement data models in collaboration with business users
- You connect new data sources to the cloud

**What you bring & who you are**:

- You have an interest in good software engineering practices (clean code)
- You bring the first experience with SQL, ETL tooling (preferably Azure Data Factory), DevOps (Jenkins or Azure Pipelines), docker, and python are a plus
- You have experience working in a cloud environment is a plus
- You have demonstrated the ability to learn and to work both independently and in a team
