**ML Research Intern**:

- location- Lausanne, Switzerland- job type- InternshipOur mission is to keep our product at the cutting edge of 3D Deep Learning and ahead of the competition. We are a team of passionate research engineers and scientists with strong academic backgrounds and combined experience from world-class ML companies and successful start-ups, working on problems that span geometrical deep learning, physics-informed machine learning, uncertainty estimation, few-shot learning, bayesian optimization and generative design - and constantly on the lookout for new talents to join the team.

**What you will do**:
You will work on improving our geometric neural network architectures based on geometric deep learning and predictive modelling, as well as using your own experience and intuitions. You will also work on leveraging the underlying physics of the problem into the models in order to boost their accuracy, sample efficiency and generalizability, based on the latest advances in the domain of physics-informed deep learning.

While working towards this goal:
You will stay up-to-date with the most recent advances in the above fields and find innovative ways to
- cutting-edge methods to our problems
- You will test your ideas on real-world problems spanning multiple industries, and you will get to work with a wide range of unique 3D design and simulation data from our customers and partners
- You will contribute to the development of our product and see the direct impact of your work on our customers
- You will be part of our research team and follow our advances in fields such as geometrical deep learning, physics-informed machine learning, uncertainty estimation, few-shot learning, bayesian optimization and generative design
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with ML researchers and experts in our network.

**Who you are**:

- You just completed (or are in the process of completing) a Master or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics or other relevant field
- You have a deep understanding of ML and DL, and some relevant research or industry experience in these domains
- You have strong experience with Python programming and ML frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch
- You have a good physical intuition and understanding of physics. Knowledge about numerical simulation is a strong plus
- You are motivated, detail-oriented, enjoy solving difficult problems and willing to engage in unknown territory
- You like to work in a team and make a difference in the real world.

**Application**:
**Culture interview**:
In this 30-45 online minutes interview, we will get to know you, understand what is important for you and introduce the company.

**Technical interviews**:
This stage consists of several interviews. Depending on the position, it will include a code challenge, a home project and/or an online technical interview.

**Assessment day**:
It is important for us to meet you in person. The final phase is the assessment day which is on-premises and lasts around 3 hours. You will meet your future colleagues, have a technical and people discussion.
