T&I Polymer Equipment Technician - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for a Polymer Equipment Technician to join our Technology and Innovation team in Winterthur.

This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge projects, support customer trials, and contribute to the advancement of sustainable polymer technologies.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Support Customer Trials:

- Assist in setting up and conducting customer trials at Foam and Devo line.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot issues during trials.
- Collaborate with customers to understand needs.
- Machinery and Equipment Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in optimal working conditions.
- Assist in the implementation of safety protocol and maintain a safe working environment.
- Warehouse Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory of raw materials, and equipment used in various activities.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and keep accurate records of inventory.
- Prepare produced Samples for Shipment.
- Conduct Analytics:

- Perform analytical support to characterize impurities, solvents, monomers, polymers using techniques such as GC, TGA, DSC etc.
- Analyze data and provide reports on experimental findings.

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chem Engineering, Materials Science, or related.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
- Attention to details, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Teamwork, organizational talent, communication
- Fluency in English and German
