Night Maternity Nurse

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Night Maternity Nurse to provide exceptional care for a 4-week-old baby in Geneva. This position requires a dedicated professional who is well-versed in newborn care, particularly during nighttime hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Newborn Care: Provide expert care and support to the 4-week-old baby during nighttime hours, attending to all aspects of the infant's needs.
- Feeding and Soothing: Handle feeding sessions, including bottle preparation or breastfeeding support, and implement soothing techniques to ensure the baby's comfort.
- Sleep Training: Implement and adhere to the parents' preferred sleep training methods, promoting healthy sleep patterns for the infant.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Keep a detailed log of the baby's feeding, sleeping, and diapering routines, and communicate any notable developments or concerns to the parents.
- Nighttime Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent nighttime routine that aligns with the parents' preferences, fostering a calm and secure environment for the baby.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle any emergencies or unexpected situations with professionalism and prompt communication with parents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the parents to understand their parenting philosophies and preferences, adapting caregiving strategies accordingly.

**Working Hours**: Night shifts, with flexibility based on the baby's needs and parental preferences.

**Qualifications**:
**Proven Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maternity Nurse, with a focus on newborn care.

**Certifications**: Hold relevant certifications in newborn care, infant CPR, and other relevant areas.

**Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

**Flexibility**: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and provide occasional daytime support if needed.

**References**: Provide verifiable references from previous employers attesting to your competence and reliability.

**Legal Requirements**: Have an EU Passport or a Swiss work permit
