**Position Summary**

We are looking for a Clinical Development Scientist, to be responsible for the evidence development strategy and provide clinical/scientific input on design, feasibility, and implementation of clinical trial(s), in collaboration with our scientists. You will actively contribute to clinical data reviews, interpretation of results, and activities required for regulatory submissions. You may also provide expert input or lead functional process improvement initiatives and provide contributions to cross area working groups depending on the level of experience. This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, adherence to the highest ethical standards (e.g. Good Clinical Practice (GCP)) and regulatory requirements, and excellent negotiation skills. You will have the chance to broaden your scientific background and your knowledge of the clinical development process dealing with the peculiarities and the challenges of clinical research in nutrition. **A Day in the Life of a Clinical Development Scientist**
- Be part of the research project team with scientist(s), project manager, business representative(s) etc. to provide clinical research expertise for the clinical development
- Lead the clinical development plan of the assigned clinical research projects and be accountable for the clinical-scientific leadership and integrity of protocols, clinical study reports and/or components of clinical plans, and quality of the clinical data
- Actively contribute to the development of Clinical Trial Protocols in compliance with internal and external standards? by writing specific sections and providing guidance to ensure feasibility, medical and methodological correctness, and consistency
- Collaborate with the other CRU functions (clinical operations, data management, statistics, and quality) to ensure that clinical studies are conducted in a compliant and efficient way
- Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders and external partners to support protocol development
- Contributes to the development of study level safety reviews and study-level medical monitoring activities
- Collaborate to the interpretation and publication of the clinical trial results

**What will make you successful**
- Advanced degree in life sciences or related field (PhD, Pharm D, MD and/or PhD)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in clinical research or development function in Pharma/Food Companies or CRO
- Working knowledge of GCP and general knowledge on EU regulatory frameworks
- Prior experience and ability to drive/contribute to protocol design, writing and implementation, preferably in international studies
- Proven understanding of methodology in the clinical study design, conduct, review, interpretation, and presentation
- Good understanding of nutritional, behavioral and/or digital health interventions is a plus
- Collaborative mindset, results focus and communication skills
- Fluency in English
