For our site in Cressier (FR), we are looking for a **Director Manufacturing - Immunohematology** (M/F/d) - 100%.

**How You'll Make an Impact**:

- Manage manufacturing operations on one or several plants, including Switzerland:

- Ensure yearly production plan on the different plants and avoid product shortage
- Ensure quality of products, customer satisfaction as well as compliance to GMP, corporate guidelines (FCPA, SOX), regulatory and international authority requirements (cGMP, ISO, TÜV, GMED, etc).
- Trend, report and improve manufacturing KPIs
- Drive and improve manufacturing financials: standard cost, manufacturing variance, spending, scrap, inventory target & turns
- Lead and develop a team of up to 8 direct reports with a scope of approx.. 340 indirect reports.
- Drive process optimization and automation to reach a world class level for efficiency, quality and effectiveness
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by use of appropriate methodologies (5S, DMAIC, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, VSM )
- Responsible for CAPEX investments and budgets
- Manage the Manufacturing infrastructure and premises: ensure clean, safe, well-organized and well-maintained manufacturing operations, and support EHS initiatives
- Part of the Site Management team, and representative in front of governmental authorities, clients, suppliers, etc.
- Partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and good business partnership within Bio-Rad

**What You Bring**:

- 15+ years experience of Manufacturing production and Supply Chain, with experience operating in a GMP and regulated environment (In Vitro Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device)
- 10+ years of leadership/management experience in a matrix organization
- Experience and knowledge of quality systems, materials management, planning, production, cost reduction initiatives, project management, engineering/automation, new products introduction, product transfer, and production scale up.
- Lean/continuous improvement expertise
- Strong leadership skills
- Fluent in French and English
