**Job Summary**:
The HR Generalist (f/m/d) is the primary point of contact for employees within the Schaffhausen site, which serves as the regional HQ, to manage general HR topics. This role will be supporting a variety of standardized HR business processes across all business units within the cluster as part of the GBS HR Shared Services Center. In addition working closely with the HR Business Partners across Europe, COEs (Center of Excellence), external and internal partners, and the Team Leader or Cluster Supervisor.

Ensure timely, accurate and consistent completion of all operational HR activities within the Employee Life Cycle - from new hire onboarding, transfer activities and timekeeping management to benefits administration and terminations.

Location: Schaffhausen in Switzerland, but Home office / Remote options are also possible with regular presence on-site.
**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities**:

- Perform HR administration tasks for the entire 'Employee Life Cycle' process (hiring tasks, terminations, employee / manager self-service transactions, absence management, talent management, contract changes, etc).
Issue all types of certifications to employees and government agencies (Employment Confirmations, A1 Forms etc)
- Manage and maintain electronic and paper personnel files
- Manage department invoices
- Assist with contract management - create contracts using templates and data submission through HRBP.
- Advise employees and answer questions related to employment law and social security issues
- Introductory events for new employees Training in the Schaffhausen Office e.g. use of time management, Workday, Workplace
- Specialist for Workday - Both for data maintenance and data validation, and as a point of contact for supervisors and HRBP
- Creating newsletters and internal announcements
- Assist with projects, including but not limited to European and Global HR Transformation
- Help with data control in swiss payroll and collaborate with payroll colleagues to ensure timely data transfer between teams and systems
- Maintaining data and assisting with regular audits in Workday and other HR systems
**Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification**:

- High school diploma or commercial apprenticeship and several years of professional experience in Human Resources
- A plus is the further Training to HR Assistant (Personalassistentin/Personalassistent)
- Good knowledge of Swiss labour law, social security system and insurances

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Work experience in an international environment
- Experience and knowledge in HR systems such as Workday, Job Vite, Time tracking system
- Advanced software skills: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and to ensure attention to detail
