In 2013, while living abroad, our founders set out to create an online tool that could turn huge PDFs into small, easy-to-send versions in order to send updates to their families. In 2022, we took a big step forward by acquiring PDF Tools, a Zurich-based pioneer for products that help to create, manipulate, and validate PDF- and PDF/A- files to support and improve our customers’ document workflows.

**Objective and responsibilities of the role**

Your mission? Team up with our Data and Engineering teams to build an automated system that dynamically bids on the right keywords in all of our markets. This means:

- Execute data-driven SEM and other paid search-related strategies from start to finish.
- Design and implement online marketing campaigns with the aim of maximizing user acquisition.
- Create a data-based automated bidding system to minimize cannibalisation with SEO, while increasing acquisition volumes and efficiency.
- Analyze performance data, customer insights, consumer & market trends, and SEM best practices to continuously improve our SEM strategies.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting for SEM and other paid search related channels while extracting key insights for future campaign development.
- Work closely with the SEO and Data teams to avoid the cannibalisation between the two channels - a unique approach due to SEO being the biggest acquisition channel across all markets.
- Work closely with the content team and product team to find the best way of story-telling between keywords, ad copies and landing pages.
- Work closely with the product team to optimize the unit economics, ROI and LTV for maximum efficiency.

**Your profile**
- 3+ years of experience in SEM or a similar role with a yearly budget of 1M€ +.
- Hands-on working knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics is essential, any other search engines, such as Bing, would be beneficial.
- Expert knowledge of SEM principles and best practices with strong understanding of SEO.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and reporting.
- Experience with custom-made automation systems and setting up an automation logic. Means: You have built (or at least worked with) automated bidding systems.
- Some experience with SQL would be an advantage.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Good to Haves**:

- Proficiency in one of the following languages: DE, FR, PT, ES.
