Position Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Strengthen the distributor’s network and select the ones who are already active in the oncology IVD field, who sell and distribute the products and services in their local markets
- Support the local distributors to promote the products and brand and to build sales and business while meeting the goals agreed upon for the market, as well as evaluate and monitor their performance and provide support for further improvements
- Business development and market strategy: In cooperation with the distributor, assess market needs and trends, including clients’ needs and competitive outlook, and propose the sales and business development strategy to senior management for approval as well as ensure an effective implementation of the strategy
- Budget planning: Propose and manage annual budget and sales forecast for the region to senior management and report any discrepancy from the budget with corrective actions
- Communication & promotional strategies and plans: Lead, in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing, the development and implementation of effective promotion and communication strategies to establish and maintain market position and support the distributors in their efforts, including congress/symposiums, sales arguments and tools (collaterals)
- Stakeholder management: Ensure an efficient liaison and trustful relations between the distributors and the various stakeholders within the company with the aim to create value for the client and ensure total satisfaction
- Ensure regular reporting to the senior management about the status of the market and the distribution performance and provide recommendations for any adjustments and improvements

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in sales and business development in EMEA, ideally in the IVD and oncology fields
- Experience in selecting and monitoring distribution and agent networks, driven by sales & business development, customer service and advisory
- Strong knowledge of sales and business planning
- Sound knowledge in market analysis (client needs identification, market trends, competitive analysis) and in setting a strategy
