Key responsibilities:

- Monitoring, reporting and improvement of occupational health exposures
- Performing Workplace risk assessments
- Develop and implement appropriate occupational hygiene/ biosafety training programs for all employees potentially exposed to relevant hazards
- Train the trainer in regard of compliance of the site. Promotes a sustainable safety culture at the site
- Evaluate and perform biosafety risk assessments, provide advice and take appropriate actions to remediate and/or mitigate biosafety risks on the site and determine biosafety
- Manage occupational health & safety measures for all projects on site.

Key requirements:

- University degree in natural science (preferably microbiology, chemistry, biology)
- Certified Post graduate studies in Occupational Hygiene
- Significant experience in chemical or biological production or significant experience in Laboratory or biological production
- Swiss acknowledged occupational hygienist SGAH license,
- preferably IOHA (International Occupational Hygiene Association)
- Biosafety courses recommended from the Swiss biosafety authorities and offered e.g. by “CH-Curriculum Biosicherheit” or willingness to complete the training
- Broad overview over analytical methods and quality standards needed in occupational hygiene
