For one of our regular clients, an international group at human size, in Energy sector, based in Geneva for over 30 years, we recruit a Financial Controller for a permanent position.

**Job purpose: Assist the Financial Control Manager in various controlling and financial tasks and in following up the affiliate's performances**

**Main responsibilities**:
**Subsidiary Controlling**
- Supervise the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting sent by the affiliates under his/her supervision, quality, accuracy and timing. Resolve issues with support of his hierarchy.
- Review the affiliates budget and 3-year plans.
- Propose and ensure the follow up of performance indicators.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis upon request from his/her hierarchy.
- Liaise with consolidation officer during quarterly closings.
- Regular travels in the affiliates to perform controlling, support, and on-site training missions, also in relation with a new ERP implementation.

**Project Controlling**
- Manage project controlling assigned by his/her manager.
- Maintain permanently an overview of total completion cost of investment projects.

**Monthly and Quarterly Reporting**
- Responsible for preparation of dedicated LOB reporting
- Contribute to quarterly dashboard preparation for the Board.
- Review of IFRS closing entries such as IFRS 16 and IFRS 9

**Other responsibilities**:

**Key working relations**:

- The Corporate Finance team based in Geneva,
- Regional and Lines of Business managers
- Other departments in Geneva (Operation, IT, Marketing...)
- Managing Directors and Finance & Accounting Managers of the affiliates under supervision
- Auditors

**Experience & education required**:

- Master's degree in Finance and Accounting.
- Relevant knowledge in controlling and financial analysis & reporting
- Exposure to Oil & Gaz or multinational industries
- IFRS background
- Fluent in French and English.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a Big 4.
- 10 years overall experience in Controlling and Finance.
- Strong computer skills

**Job Type**: 100%

**Salary**: CHF250.00 - CHF500.00 per day
