Camp Instructor

**We are looking for Camp Instructors: Be part of the adventure**

Verein Little Scientists is recruiting creative science and technology enthusiasts to help us carry out our STEM activities in the canton of Zurich.

**Our prospective instructor must have**:

- a passion for working with children and teenagers
- lively personality
- completed undergraduate degree (preferably)
- exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- excellent proficiency in German and English
- eligibility for this position requires applicants to be either Swiss citizens, or possess the legal authorization to reside and work in Switzerland.

**The Role**:
As a camp leader, one of your main responsibilities will be parent liaison. You will be their first point of contact for any concerns and problems they may have about the camp. Your other main responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of the children while creating an unforgettable camp experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- collaborate with the Assistant to set up venues and prepare for the day
- lead engaging lessons for groups of up to 15 children
- keep your group organized and on track
- provide clear direction and structure for assistant teachers
- manage check-in tasks and communication with parents

**When and Where**:
Our 5-day camps are held mainly during school vacations at our STEM center in Hardbrücke and FiZ Robinson in Herrilberg. The camps typically run from 09:00 to 17:00 each day. Additionally, we offer Saturday workshops during school weeks.

**Flexible Workload**:
At Little Scientists, we offer you the flexibility to balance your studies or other commitments while working with us. We offer a very competitive salary and expect a minimum commitment of 5 camps per year.
