**Job Description**:
L&H Corporate Actuarial is a highly regarded growing team of senior actuaries with expertise across many inforce management topics.
We are looking to hire a Consolidation Actuary to join our team. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life & Health control and support infrastructure.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting regular L&H risk monitoring with a variety of tasks.
- Supporting projects across consolidated reporting and risk monitoring which may include testing infrastructure, implementing new methodologies.
- Proposing assumption updates for global assumptions, for example this could include IFRS17 Risk Adjustment margins.
The nature of the team means that short notice requests on a variety of tasks need to be supported by all team members. This suits someone with natural curiosity who is comfortable in a changing environment.
**Qualifications**:
A technically excellent individual with competence and mindset to enable you to add value in areas outside your immediate area of expertise. Moreover, you ideally have the following background and skills:
- Newly or nearly qualified Actuary with at least 6 years of life (re-)insurance industry experience;
- Detailed knowledge of one or more solvency regimes
- High degree of accountability
- Ability to maintain effective control environment
- Highly cooperative, flexible, and enthusiastic team-player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
