Marketing Manager Switzerland (all genders, 80-100%)
The Marketing Manager Switzerland is an important player in delivering MAMMUT’s European brand und business goals, by taking the responsibility for bringing MAMMUTs strategy to life in Switzerland. The area of responsibility includes the Marketing execution with B2B Field accounts in the Swiss market as well as the activation campaigns for the end-consumer over different channels (Trade, Retails, Events, Sponsoring). This role builds an important pillar within the DACH marketing team and is reporting directly to the Team lead Marketing DACH (based in Germany). The alignment between the different German-speaking markets as well as the other European markets (France, Italy etc.) is an essential part of this position to safeguard the holistic presentation of the brand in all markets. The objective is to present the brand with excellence and to activate the brand with a consumer centric approach. The collaboration with the Swiss Sales Crew is an essential part of this role.
Do what you love:
- Managing & executing the different Marketing initiatives in Switzerland for retail stores (own&franchise), Field accounts and buying groups (e.g., Intersport, Sport 2000)
- Development, planning and implement the Go-to-market (GTM) strategy with B2B partner and Retail Stores in Switzerland
- End-to-End accountability (Sell-in & Sell-Out) for local extension of global GTM, brand and product campaigns over different consumer touchpoints (Trade, Retail, Events, Fairs & Sponsoring)
- Plan and organize the end-consumer events for retail, field accounts and with sponsoring partners (e.g., Snow safety workshops, Test Feel in Climbing Halls, Trail running Events)
- Execute the Marketing campaigns within the Shop in Shops (Windows) and organize Visual Merchandising
- Manage locale sponsoring and collaborations (Athletes, climbing gyms, associations) and work out a yearly marketing plan to ensure brand visibility in their channel
- Effectively working and collaborating with internal partner and departments to align marketing efforts with company strategy and goals
- Responsibility for local marketing budget with strong focus on efficient spending (KPI-tracking)
- Safeguard collaboration and partnership with regional / local marketing organizations to optimize and drive the success of the brand in the region
- Organize specific B2B events together with the Sales Crew to shar ethe passion for the brand (e.g. Mammut Outdoor Experience Days)
Play to your strengths:
- Bachelor’s degree or Basic commercial education and further education in marketing
- +3 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, retail marketing or brand development (ideally in sporting or outdoor goods industry)
- Holistic creative thinking with strategic mindset and an innovative personality
- Hands-on with focus on delivering an End-to-End result
- Deep understanding of consumer journey and market needs to drive sell through and customer satisfaction
- Understanding and good knowledge of the b2b-business & process in the outdoor/sports industry in Switzerland
- Fluent in German & English, French or Italian is a plus
- Excellent social, collaboration and communication skills
- Cross-functional mindset
- Self-confident and convincing personality
- High flexibility and willingness to work with temporary peaks (weekends, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
