to join Prof. Selin Yilmaz's research team.

The IGD brings together some 130 members working in the fields of geography and sustainability, combining the humanities and natural sciences. With 27 professors and MERs and over 80 PhD students and post-docs, the IGD offers an international, interdisciplinary, and stimulating environment conducive to high-level research. It regularly hosts renowned conferences and researchers from all over the world.

Start date: November 1, 2024

Duration of contract: 2 years, 2 years renewable, maximum 4 years

Rate of employment: 100%.

**Salary**: 48’606 - 51’507 CHF yearly (salary scales for PhD in line with SNSF guidelines)

Place of work: University of Lausanne, Institute of Geography and Sustainability, Géopolis, UNIL-Mouline, Lausanne, Switzerland

**Your responsibilities**:
**Your qualifications**:

- Completed or nearly completed a master’s degree in environmental sciences; geography, social sciences;
- Proven knowledge of energy policy and justice;
- Good knowledge of qualitative methods (e.g. interviews) and quantitative methods (e.g. metric calculations) would be an asset.
- Good language skills in English are expected (the language of the project EQUITAS and publications will be in English). French and German would be an asset.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary multi-institutional team
