Finance Manager Global Inventory

**About** the role**:
- Champion the automation and digitalization of Inventory Planning and Reporting, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Play a pivotal role in key processes pertaining to Biologics inventory, including reporting and close activities, compliance, inventory reserve reviews, and risk assessments
- Engage with stakeholders across organizational hierarchies to validate data, fostering trust and ensuring the accuracy of information.
- Drive the development of cutting-edge analytical tools to meet dynamic and evolving reporting requirements..
- Provide invaluable support and expertise for other critical inventory-related projects, contributing to overall operational excellence.
**How you will contribute**:
- Partner with finance, operations and site leaders to provide monthly results to enable global consolidation
- Lead monthly inventory calls with sites to understand inventory fluctuations
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of inventory results for Operating Unit against budget to facilitate decision making toward budget achievement
- Support Inventory Planning and Reporting transition to the digital tools
- Develop and maintain various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance to enable consolidation
- Work closely with business partners and sites to ensure accurate inventory reserve reporting including aging reserves by product
- Work closely with Corporate Finance to understand the Profit In Inventory
- Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
- Use financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel to Operating Units and management to drive business results
- Understand and facilitate integration of business processes, people and relevant technology to drive efficiency and business decision making across the company
- Analyze data to ensure compliance with inventory policy and according to legal, internal and SOx requirements
- Assists with month end inventory financial close process including resolving discrepancies between ERP systems
- Lead quarterly meetings with Supply Chain to identify inventory write-offs
- Assists with the annual budget process for inventory across all entities
- Other ad hoc requests, as needed

- Digital Savvy
- Work with multiple ERP systems - SAP and JDE versions
- Develop and maintain consolidating reporting solutions in Power BI and SAP Analytics cloud (SAC)
- Understanding intercompany profit elimination accounting in the Group of entities
- Understanding product costing processes, inventory movements and the related accounting treatment
- Strong analytical and Problem solving skills - data analysis, critical thinking, teamwork and collaboration

**Complexity**
- Understand the manufacturing strategy and the various locations where inventory is produced/sold
- Complex data system, compliance and business environment (mainly L-Shire)
**What you bring to Takeda**:
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Database analysis preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a global team setting
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Proven analytical skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Language skills English fluent, Polish fluent, German basic
- Digital savvy, experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP Analytics cloud (SAC), JDE/C3ME, HFM (Hyperion), Power BI, IBM Analytics PAW and PAX, SQL VBA, Python, Cognos, Think-cell, Blackline
