Master Student Mechanical Engineering Intern
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop technical concepts from ideation to working prototypes-
- Create complex CAD models and technical drawings-
- Optimize mechanical structures using generative design, FEM simulations, and topology optimization.-
- Develop feedback control methods for electric drive trains.-
- Build prototypes of mechanical and/or electrical hardwareMinimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Student or recent graduate with excellent academic track record in mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical engineering-
- High motivation and problem-solving ability-
- Capable of both working independently and collaborating in a team-
- First practical experience in research and development from internships, student projects or extracurricular activities-
- First experience in the medical devices industry and radiotherapy is a plus-
- Solid CAD proficiency, preferably with SolidWorks or PTC Creo-
- Experience of implementing control software in C++/Python-
- First-hand experience with prototyping, 3D printing, electronics, actuators, and sensors-
- Fluent in English or German- #LI-OS
