Photography Internship - E-Commerce (6 months)

Location: Lorrach, Germany

Reports to: Online Merchandising Manager

**Your Responsibilities**:
During the internship, you will:

- Learn to organize and prepare products for photoshoots, including unpacking, ironing, and arranging lighting setups.
- Assist in executing packshots and still life photography using professional equipment.
- Gain expertise in photo retouching and enhancement using industry-standard software.
- Help manage and organize digital assets, ensuring seamless collaboration with the e-commerce and digital teams.
- Collaborate daily with internal teams, including Web Merchandising, Web Operations, Marketing, Logistics, and the Graphical Marketing team.
- Provide occasional support for merchandising and graphic tasks.

**Your Day-to-Day Tasks**:

- Assist in checking new product arrivals, preparing items for shoots, and ensuring proper return to inventory.
- Work on photographing products based on priorities set by the E-Commerce Merchandising Manager.
- Learn to retouch photos to meet professional quality standards.
- Help upload and organize digital assets for team use.

- Photography and Retouching Skills: Gain hands-on experience with packshots, still life photography, and advanced photo-editing techniques.
- Organizational Skills: Master daily task management, product preparation, and workflow optimization.
- Autonomy and Time Management: Develop the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gain a holistic understanding of e-commerce operations.

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German or French is a strong advantage.
- Passion and Enthusiasm: A keen interest in photography and e-commerce is essential.
- Education and Experience: A-levels or equivalent education; no prior professional experience is required, but a basic understanding of photography is a plus.
