The AO is a medically-guided, not-for-profit organisation, a global network of surgeons, and the world's leading education, innovation, and research organisation specialising in the surgical treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders. We have a global network of over 385,000 health care professionals. Each year we offer over 830 educational events around the world, supported by nearly 9,000 faculty members and attended by over 58,000 participants. We have around 18,500 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.

**To master this challenge you have**:
- Strong market orientation with an understanding of the market landscape, educational trends and best practices to identify opportunities to successfully grow and implement new educational offerings
- Experience in identifying and analysing market opportunities and design effective strategies to meet educational needs
- Experience in product strategy and brand management incl. developing and executing marketing plans to promote educational programs and products
- Experience in product development and lifecycle management of continuing medical education programs
- Experience in orchestration of a portfolio incl. different projects
- Experienced in introducing and using state-of-the-art innovation methods and tools
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the success of educational initiatives
- Knowledge of CME accreditation and regulatory bodies
- Basic knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design
**Specific Requirement II**:
**In this role you will be required to**:
- Core business responsibilities for the portfolio cluster
- Analyze the Education Portfolio composition to determine continuation or discontinuation of Education Programs and Products
- Oversee Lifecycle management of existing Education Programs and Products
- Initiate and steer new Education Programs and Products as well as Pilots
- Create business plan with relevant key representatives
