**Business Intelligence Lead**

**Description of the role**

EF High School Exchange Year (“HSEY”), part of the EF Group, is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland.

Business Intelligence in HSEY involves support and provide data-driven insights for users in the US and multiple European and Asian markets. Some days are more about user support, other days involves discussing requirements for new developments and other days are more technical to transform data in SQL or build dashboards in Power BI. The variation of tasks and speed of decisions and development are what make no day look the same.

We have a mature data lake house built on modern Microsoft technology. We are currently reviewing building out the BI capabilities for the US team. By using your existing knowledge and expertise, you will gather requirements and work closely with the business to define metrics and build actionable dashboards to drive growth.

**The Role**
- In collaboration with business stakeholders, identify and translate business needs into requirements for reports and dashboard development in Power BI
- Support and develop data transformations using SQL
- Develop and improve actionable reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Support users in Power BI to increase data literacy in the organization

**Your Profile**
- Self-driven and have good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player with a passion for collaboration and an ability to articulate high-level concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and highly attentive to details

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Proficient working in SQL databases building stored procedures and views
- At least 3-years of work-experience
