Bring along your knowledge and dedication as an Associate in the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) team of Axpo, working on projects for Axpo Group and subsidiaries across Europe. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on the future direction of Axpo and play an important role in the ongoing energy transition.

**What you will do**:

- Company and industry analysis, financial modelling and valuation for potential investment opportunities and divestments
- Buyside and sellside deal execution including project management
- Prepare and present documents and materials for the Axpo Group management, executive board and board of directors
- Follow the market environment and energy sector developments
- Interact with various advisors, counterparties, as well as key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Participate in the dialogue shaping the strategy of Axpo Group and support top management in important strategic and financial decisions by providing qualitative and quantitative analysis

**What you bring & who you are**:

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in M&A, preferably from a top-tier investment bank
- Knowhow and experience in the energy sector, especially in Europe and renewables
- Intellectual curiosity and ambition
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Native German speaker and fluent in English, French is a plus
- Strong educational background
- A valid work permit for Switzerland or EU/EFTA citizenship
