- Division: Legal- Job Type: Permanent roleTo strengthen our Legal team, we are recruiting an** IP Counsel** based at our headquarters in Geneva. Reporting to the Head Legal & Compliance and acting as an intellectual property (IP) expert, your mission is to manage and protect OM Pharma’s IP portfolios.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

- Lead and give advice on all IP-related matters, including without limitation patents, data exclusivity, life cycle management, parallel imports, trademarks, copyrights and domain names
- Elaborate and drive the IP strategy of OM Pharma
- Manage patent litigations and instructing external local counsel and/or assisting in patent litigation
- Ensure that OM Pharma products are marketed without infringing other parties’ patent rights.
- Manage and/or coordinate with external competent firms the OM Pharma trademark and domain name portfolio
- Be actively involved in due diligence activities, review and analyze license agreements and other contracts

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

- Qualified European Patent Attorney with an educational background in the field of Life Sciences
- At least 3 years post-qualification experience as an in-house patent attorney in the pharmaceutical industry or patent attorney in private practice strongly exposed to life science projects
- Experience with strategic management of a global IP portfolio and global IP contentious matters (e.g. oppositions, appeals, litigations)
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with preferably good oral skills in French
- Proficiency in MS-Office tools
