In this position you will report directly to the General Manager of the Hilton Zurich Airport & Apart-Hotel Zurich and be responsible for Sales & C&E Team of 5.
- Contribute to the creation of challenging and meaningful budget each year.
- Create and manage daily, weekly, monthly as well as annual sales action plans to identify opportunities and segments requiring action.
- Review current contracts and align future contract actions to maximize opportunities and revenue to outperform market.
- Analyze individual account and segment performance as well as booking patterns and be able to explain strategies and results in an understandable manner to the executive team along with hotel ownership during monthly business review meetings.
- Create and sell promotions including events as needed.
- Lead the Sales & C&E team and ensure all hotel policies are followed.
- Understand and interpret STR data to support hotel strategies to maximize revenues.
- Work closely with revenue management to optimize overall company performance.
- Completed training, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Ideally further education with a business background.
- Profound professional experience in sales of comparable hotels.
- Knowledge of the markets and the national as well as international competition.
- Ability to interpret business indicators and competitive trends.
- Winning sales talent.
- Hospitality skills as well as confident, competent appearance.
- Self-directed organizational and planning skills.
- Business fluent in written as well as spoken German and English. Additional French is an advantage.
