**Your role**

- Conceptualize, implement, and validate models together with the team
- Support strategic use cases, that are of high relevance across domains
- Derive and present insightful findings from data and model outputs
- Support the development of our analytics solutions and frameworks

**Internship**
Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.
- From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in an innovative and dynamic team, successfully pushing the digitization of UBS Switzerland. If you would like to experience data science right at the heart of the digital transformation in banking, you are in the right place with us. We work closely with stakeholders from business, marketing, analytics, legal & compliance, and IT to create innovative projects and solutions with direct impact on day-to-day business.

**Your expertise**
- You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master's degree within the last 6 months.
- In particular, you have:
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in information technology, computer science, mathematics or other STEM fields
- a gift for using machine learning, numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
- experience with high-level programming language preferably Python and SQL and statistical modeling software know-how
- an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
- personal initiative and motivation to push projects forward independently and goal-oriented
- a proven record of working well with others in a diverse setting
- Start date: August 2024
