As the Project Manager Interior Design of Jet Aviation you will be responsible to lead Interior Design Projects from conception to execution. During conception, you need to create harmonic and unique color/material schemes and shape/style studies which are matching the unique customer request. You will not only work closely together with several Jet Aviation units such as sales, engineering, production and PMO, but as well meet with customers or representatives to present your concepts and discuss opportunities.
- Description/Tasks:

- Act as the primary source for driving highly creative, complex, and technically sound interior solutions during the sales process and through the full project cycle up to redelivery
- Work in close coordination with sales executives, sales engineers, engineers, supply chain, production and the project management organization to provide timely and accurate sales support for assigned sales territories including technical and competitive analyses, and sales proposal responses
- Direct interface with customers, customer representatives and customer’s or external designers
- Management of all design elements of the completion specification (terms, conditions, and approvals)
- Provides esthetical and technical design expertise to sales representatives, customers and suppliers including all inhouse stakeholders during the entire process and full project cycle
- Performs sales design support at customer sites, or on a multiple-site basis
- Interdisciplinary design management focal point for sales, program management, production, procurement, and engineering
- Resolves interior design product and service issues
- Assist’s customers during the sales process and full project cycle to maximize the benefits derived from the organization's products and/or services
- Responsibilities are within the design function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines with overlapping coordination authority between departments, inhouse capabilities and external service
- Project responsibility for adherence to labor and material budget, including schedule
- Responsible for creation, completeness, and internal/external alignment on the interior design packages
- Qualification/Experience:

- University degree with at least 10 years’ experience, of which 8 must be in a related field (interior design, product design or interior architecture) or master’s degree in a related field (interior design, product design or interior architecture) with at least 8 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field (interior design, product design or interior architecture) with at least 8 years’ experience
- Direct experience in aviation completions and specifically aviation interior design of at least 6 years
- Advanced knowledge of all aspects of aviation interior design and all general technical aspects
- Excellent sense and in-depth understanding of esthetics
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous project management and budget management experience of at least 5 years
- Strong team player
- Able to work autonomously
- Possessing a professional, flexible attitude to their work
- Self-motivated with excellent time and budget management skills
- Lateral thinker, completer, finisher with strong organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates highest proficiency in their field and has an exemplary eye for detail, in-depth understanding of esthetics, color and spatial awareness
- Demonstrates genuine interest in design trends, materials, technical solutions, and finishes
- Proven recent experience leading design teams through complex completions projects
- Excellent computer skills, using all standard computer programs including 2D and 3D CAD
- Proven and successful track record of leading medium, cross functional teams, delivering excellent results to deadlines in a high-stress environment
