Global Medical Affairs Director Immunology

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Global Medical Affairs Director Immunology to join a brilliant pharma establishment on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on supplying access to novel remedies for those suffering from rare illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this role, you will handle the engagement of international KOLs in the field.
- Offer scientific contributions to the development of promotional material driven by the commercial team.
- Supply scientific input to both internal and external scientific publications.
- Form and implement international medical tactics which involves the following deliverables.
- You will provide internal and external training as well as training resources.
- Assist with cross-functional projects.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a medical discipline specialising in Immunology or Rheumatology.
- Clinical acquaintance with immunology or rheumatology would be ideal.
- Relevant industry experience with international launch familiarity would be preferable.
- Past involvement in and capability of engaging with crucial external shareholders.
- Able to form and implement methodical and strategic medical plans.
- At least 5+ years of pertinent familiarity with working in a pharmaceutical/biotech establishment within Medical Affairs/Scientific Communications/Clinical or Preclinical Sciences etc.
- Capable of precisely and efficiently reviewing and analysing medical/scientific literature.
- Fluency in the English language.
