Congress and Event Manager

Our client is a leading pharmaceutical company based in Basel.

As a Congresses and Events Manager; you will manage the effective delivery, execution and best in class quality assurance of our congresses

Working in a cross functional environment you will oversee consistent and timely implementation of the CX design plan across congresses, monitor quality, manage budget and delivery schedules working cross-functionally. This function is responsible for ensuring that the congresses have a consistent customer journey across all the different activities happening during a congress (in person and hybrid interactions)

**Major Accountabilities**
- Oversee and ensure timely, consistent &high-quality implementation of the customer design plan for your given expertise area
- Ensure the implementation follows the quality standards and best practices established by the Congress Design team
- Manage workflows, approvals & budgets of design plan implementation for various brands and stakeholders
- Ensure buy-in from different relevant stakeholders and curate all required approvals of the commercial content
- Ensure harmonisation and collaboration
- Measure approach against competitors and internal benchmarks

About You:

- 5 years of experience in project and event management
- Awareness of media trends, technology, and best practices
- Experience delivering healthcare congresses and events
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Firm understanding of the pharma industry or healthcare professional regulatory environment is a plus
- Required starting date 01.09.2023 (project until 31.08.2024) with 60% presence on-site
