**Position title**:
Research Associate - Lead Generation (100%)

**Job description**:
We are looking for a motivated Research Associate to support our Lead Generation team in research projects in drug discovery.

Your tasks will include the following:

- Development and performance of various assays, including high-throughput screening;
- Independent planning, performing and evaluation of own project-related experiments, including protein expression, purification and characterization by a variety of different methods: e.g., ELISA, SDS-PAGE, UV-spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography;
- Operation, administration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, as well as planning and organization of the laboratory’s day-to-day life, including inventory and consumption material and database work;
- Data processing and interpretation as well as documentation of research findings;
- Summarizing data packages and presenting them to the project team for discussion.

**Requirements**:
For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled individual who features the following credentials:

- At least 1 year of work experience in a biopharmaceutical environment;
- Technical experience in standard methods of modern biochemistry & molecular biology, including high-throughput screening;
- Expertise in basic cloning, protein expression and purification;
- Solid experience with ELISA, SDS-Page, UV-spectroscopy, size exclusion chromatography;
- Solid background in Data Analysis, Processing and Documentationn;
- Ideally experience in binder selection from libraries;
- Understanding of basic analysis by FACS (1-2 colors)would be preferable;
- Top line understanding of standard cellular-based assay would be preferable
- Proficiency in English (verbally/in writing), every further European language is an asset, especially German;
- Good knowledge of Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
- Good communication and presentation skills and team spirit;
- Minute and accurate working skills and quality awareness;
- Independent and flexible working engagement - motivated and curious to learn & grow with new tasks.
