The North Face EMEA is looking for an exceptional Strategic Accounts Merchandiser to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Strategic Accounts Merchandiser will help grow The North Face brand and retailers’ net revenue, market shares and profitability through strategic planning, sales analysis, tracking marketing initiatives and providing a thorough analysis across defined Digital Strategic Accounts, identifying sales trends, orderbook opportunity & risk and affecting future sales and product planning.

You will work closely with Product, Retail Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain and Marketing but primarily with the account and the other team members in Sales.

How You Will Make a Difference
- Measuring, tracking, and analysing key KPI’s
- Fostering key relationships to ensure constant flow of information with various departments/partners
- Developing business intelligence; gathering and analysing data to provide continuous improvement opportunities to the business
- Building and collaborating on strategic plans and forecasting to key stakeholders
- Analyze weekly sell through reports to drive orderbook management and future sales planning
- Input in to seasonal planning process, understanding where opportunities & risk exists, and optimising commercial plan inline with brand commercial and strategic objectives
- Assist in producing seasonal performance reports on sell out, sales performance and KPI’s to feed back to the business.
- Work with account teams to manage our internal range planning documents.
- Identify marginal gains and impact to future plans.
- Assist Inventory Support decision making and control of stock turn.
- Collaborate with Planning/Account Managers/Retail Team to secure inventory based on sell through and product availability.
- Drive operational excellence, particularly around sales forecasting
- Help develop planning strategies that balance customers’ expectations and TNF objectives.
- Support management of key franchises though stock sales plan and future demand and supply projections.
- Collaborate with Product Merchandising in ideal range planning and future range architecture.

Skills for Success
- You have minimum 3 year of similar experience in merchandising, merchandising support/analytics (e.g., operations, pricing)
- You are available to travel ±20% of the working time
- You have knowledge of Western Europe Sportswear / Sport performance markets and consumers
- You have preferably expertise in Apparel and Footwear
- You have a good level of merchandising, assortment planning and product acumen
- You have demonstrated the ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis
- You have a proven ability to conduct and/or analyse research related to product, classifications, market/competitors, consumers and channels of distribution
- You have strategic problem solving skills
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- You have superior interpersonal skills and the ability to influence areas outside of direct control
- You have leadership experience to align strategy, to mentor, inspire, and influence others within a work group
