For our client, an actively growing player in the Commodity Trading industry, we are looking for a confident and driven individual to fill the position Agricultural Trader. In this position you will work to expand purchasing and sales activities through building and maintaining customer and vendor relationships. Additionally, you will also identify new markets and product opportunities. Are you familiar with agriculture/ farming and have a track record of trading agricultural products as well as a solid lead for buyers/sellers to show? Then this is the right position for you

**Your Tasks**
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and customers
- Obtaining market information for business development
- Negotiating purchase and sales terms with customers and suppliers
- Maintaining communication with the logistics and finance departments in order to ensure all tasks are completed and deadlines are met
- Providing excellent customer service and monitoring of all active shipments
- Monitoring of long and short positions in a given region in order to improve trading margins
- Participating in global trading strategies, providing input and expertise to further develop trading strategies
- Check for cash price anomalies and exploiting regional arbitrage opportunities to maximize margins

**Your Profile**
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably with proven track record in an agricultural trading company
- Known withing agricultural commodity market environment with respective trade book record
- You’re a people person, are known for your way of communicating and have a knack for negotiating
- You are adept at problem solving and ensuring solutions under time pressure
