Private Tutor

The child is 10 years old, going into 5th grade.

Job description:

- Studying lesson plans and reviewing textbooks to prepare for a lesson
- Assigning additional projects and answering questions about different topics
- Conducting practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement and help set goals for exam preparation
- Providing progress report to the student’s guardians and making recommendations for additional support
- Diagnosing student needs through active listening techniques and questioning strategies

Requirements and skills:

- Proven work experience as a Tutor or similar role
- Patient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable and cooperative
- Ability to take supervision and correction constructively
- Ability to positively supervise students

**Job Type**: Part-time (1-2 hours/a day)

Experience: Teaching/Tutoring: more than 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Teaching Certification
- Certification from the NTA or CRLA
