Our propulsion systems power electric buses and electrified heavy-duty vehicles, trains, locomotives, mountain railroads and many other types of rail vehicles around the globe. In our traction and battery technology business we are looking for a SAP savvy production planner to strengthen the order processing team with focus on our battery factory in Baden in the agglomeration of Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will drive production efficiency by creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, performing daily material requirements planning at the plant level to meet delivery deadlines and ensure on-time delivery to all customers.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Create and schedule production orders, balancing customer delivery dates with production capacities
- Monitor progress and completeness of upstream documentation (Engineering/R&D) for new product launches.
- Forward production order schedules to the assembly teams using SAP and APS tools
- Continuous progress synchronization with assembly and testing teams
- Monitor material readiness at the start date (missing parts management), if required, coordination with operative purchasing
- Monitor production and testing hours
- Support cost and stock disposition (Demand-Mgmt., Safety-Stock-Mgmt., Dead-Stock-Mgmt.)
- Maintain master data in SAP
- Support the order processing team at the locations Turgi and Baden in case of vacation and other absences
- Collaborate in the annual stock taking
- Continuously improve the production planning processes

**Your background**:

- Completed vocational training in a technical field, electrical background is an advantage
- Additional theoretical training as production process specialist
- Confident communicator in the office and on the shopfloor
- Independent, self-reliant way of working
- Eager to learn, hardworking and flexible
- Good computer skills (Office / SAP)
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong motivation to initiate improvements
