Contribute to the definition and development of research projects focused on surface chemistry of minerals for broader fundamental knowledge and specified commercial areas
- Lead laboratory projects, as assigned, utilizing design of experiments and the scientific method to address stakeholder needs
- Write quality reports detailing the problem, procedure, results and conclusions
- educate others by sharing, brainstorming, and presenting concepts
- Demonstrate and develop expertise of analytical methods for mineral surface modification and industry specific processing methods
- Support direct collaboration with internal and external teams/stakeholders as appropriate
- Perform analyses as needed to expedite testing
- support new method development within the team and experiment with new ideas
- Assist in maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
- Provide day-to-day instruction and work packages to 1-2 laboratory technicians
- Bachelor in Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position or Master's Degree
- Laboratory experience is required
- Readiness to carry out own experiments in a laboratory environment
- Proactive, target-oriented and willing to work on multidisciplinary projects or teams
- Work in an ISO-certified environment
- Fluency in English and (with at least basic proficiency in German preferred)
