This young family lives in Zollikon, a residential area near Zürich. The family language is English so the nanny must be fluent in this language, but we would like to have someone who can speak good German as well. The family has a housekeeper twice a week so they will only expect light cleaning, mainly focused on the children. The family does not expect the nanny to have specific childcare diplomas, but they would like her to have enough experience (a few years) looking after young children. If you have Montessori education, this may be an advantage, but it is not a must. We are looking for a nanny who truly loves spending time with kids and engages fully with the children. A nanny who knows how to create a nurturing environment and stimulate the children development in a creative and positive way. We would like the baby to go outside / be outdoors every day so the nanny should enjoy indoor and outdoor activities with the children. We are looking for someone responsible, trustworthy, kind and warm hearted: A loving nanny for our kids who looks well after the child happiness and safety. A person who is sociable, has good manners and good communication skills fits better with them. It is important for this family to find someone who is open about what works or not, what you recommend for the child etc. and is also important to be consequent, punctual and resourceful. This family is active and sportive. They also like to travel and they would like to bring their nanny with them during vacation (in Switzerland and abroad). If the nanny works more than the agreed schedule, they will compensate financially.
