As a key member of the quality department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance and reliability of all Gucci Watches. Working closely with our internal teams, including R&D, Product Care, Logistics, and the Kering Group, you will oversee every aspect of excellence from development to market launch.
**Job Description**:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1- Reliability:
- Define criteria and test specifications related to products and requirements.
- Conduct proactive risk assessments for products and manufacturing processes right from the initiation of the development phase.
- Establish, develop, and formalize partnerships with laboratories to ensure comprehensive product, material, and component testing.
- Collaborate closely with FH “Fédération Horlogère” and other relevant institutions.
- Implement and enhance quality assurance in coordination with external partners.
2- Compliance & Sustainability:
- Continuously monitor legislative international and internal standards, as ISO and NIHS regulations.
- Contribute with innovative ideas and projects aimed at advancing sustainable development.
3- Project and System Management:
- Maintain an updated database containing results from both internal and external tests.
- Regularly update a repository of validated specifications and share the information with relevant external partners.
- Centralize and share test and risk assessment results with relevant departments.
- Actively propose innovative ideas for improving products and processes.
- Strategically challenge testing protocols and define upgraded standards.
- Follow up the budget and the report regarding the activities.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- High education degree (engineering school, master’s degree, or equivalent university education)
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge in watch manufacturing processes.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and attention to details.
- You have an analytical, solution-oriented mindset.
- With good communication skills and a sense of leadership, you feel at ease interacting with different stakeholders.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
