**What You Will Do In Your Role**:
The Proprietary Oil Trader will work as part of a team of Traders and Data Scientists. Specific responsibilities include:

- Risk Management of up to $2mm Var
- Trading oil futures and options contracts
- Evolve our analytical capability working alongside data scientists
- Financial analysis of oil prices to understand the evolution of non-commercial participants (CTA’s, ETF’s, hedge funds, macro funds, index funds and risk parity)
- Driving fundamental analysis to identify regimes in the oil markets.
- Interacting with counterparties, commercial and financial, to cover different points of view, perspectives and sentiment in the market.

**The Experience You Will Bring**:**
Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in banking, finance, economics, or math
- A minimum of 3 years trading experience, mainly focused on oil trading
- Experience with advanced analytical techniques and programming languages (R, Python)
- Interest in trading oil strategies using advanced analytics
- Options knowledge
- Flexibility to travel as needed
