**About us**

Sednai is an innovative, data-driven, company and creator of massive time-series analysis platform enabling the extraction of knowledge from temporal data at scale.

Sednai has a central role in the **European Space Agency Gaia Mission** ecosystem in Switzerland, driving Gaia Data Centre in Geneva with a distributed database solution based on fork of PostgreSQL (Postgres-XL, TBase) to store, curate, present and analyse billions of astronomical time-series as part of ESA Gaia mission.

The AERO consortium is made of 12 European academic and industrial entities and Sednai.

**We expect knowledge of C language, Postgres internals**, and any of the above-mentioned technologies.
