**Who you are**

As a Country Legal manager you belong to our Legal function, supporting the IKEA business with expertise in areas such as corporate, agreements, litigations, compliance and governance. Within this position is crucial to partner with the business, guiding and supporting to secure a learning in the above areas.

We see that you bring:

- Swiss university degree in law (licentiate or master's degree) with a Swiss bar license.
- At least five years of professional experience as a corporate lawyer in the industrial or commercial sector or as a lawyer in a law firm.
- Strong customer and service orientation, as well as a high level of commitment, independence and quick thinking.
- Solution-oriented and entrepreneurial personality.
- Excellent German and very good English skills. Fluency in another Swiss national language is positively evaluated.
- Experience of managing legal risks and implementing legal risk mitigation processes.
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents, as well as providing day-to-day legal advice.
- Know-how in the creation and continuous improvement of guidelines and principles and their implementation through legal training.
- Ability to work independently with all levels of an organization.
- Experience in managing a small legal team is an advantage.

**Your responsibilities**
- Ensure and maintain a good cooperation with and between core areas, group functions and other function/ areas within the IKEA Group.
- Monitor and secure the legal aspects of the IKEA Switzerland, and give day to day assistance on legal and governance matters to IKEA businesses and operations in Switzerland.
- Actively support the management of IKEA Switzerland in order to secure the rights and assess the obligations in order to reduce exposure to legal risks.
- Be the support in legal matters to the management in Switzerland and implement corporate governance for the companies in Switzerland belonging to the IKEA Group.
- Acting as a link between external lawyers and business units and secure the performance of external lawyers in respect of quality, cost, etc.
- Supporting IKEA Group Legal and Governance on projects and other substantive matters.
- Provide advice to relevant stakeholders in order to reduce exposure to risks and optimize opportunities.
- Secure legal compliance by actively creating awareness and support management to organize for compliance.
