**The **Opportunity**:
Avantor is looking for a **Lab Technician - Fill-Finish Technologies (f/m/d)** based at our customer site in Schaffhausen. In this role, you will provide scientific support to the testing and development of methods related to fill and finish procedures.

**Working hours**: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 (no shifts work, however flexibility based on the requirements of the scientific tests is required)
**The team**
You will be part of our scientific Lab Associate Team, currently consisting of two members. As part of our team, you will receive all support necessary to perform well and contribute to the successful launch of new pharmaceutical products.
**What you’ll bring**
- Completed relevant vocational training with several years of professional experience or completed Bachelor’s Degree with initial work experience.
- Experience in drug and/or fill-finish manufacturing process development with focus on biological products in a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated industrial environment (e.g. medical products).
- Expertise in experiment data interpretation and reporting systems, with a commitment to refining processes based on data-driven insights.
- Creativity and pioneering spirit in solving problems and expanding a development laboratory.
- Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary team.
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
- Good German proficiency would be an advantage.
**How you will thrive and create an impact**
- Support in fill-finish process/method development within the dosing system laboratories.
- Independent execution of laboratory experiments to support process and product development in the early phases up to and including market launch.
- GMP documentation, data analysis and preparation of technical-scientific presentations and reports.
- Evaluation of new and innovative fill/finish technologies and methods.
- Close cooperation with internal partners of other specialist departments (e.g. analytical development, clinical sample production, quality control) to improve fill-finish processes.
- Responsibility for all aspects of a development laboratory in the pharmaceutical environment including maintenance of equipment, laboratory safety and documentation.
