Expediting and Doc Controller - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Chemtech team within POFC division in Switzerland as Expediting and Document Controller. The Expediting and Document Controller is responsible for overseeing the timely production of our industrial equipment manufactured by subcontractors, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting quality standards.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:
As an Expediter, you will oversee the following tasks:

- Monitoring and expediting the production of raw materials and goods to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicating regularly with the suppliers to get updates on order status, as well as the project team and the project planner to share progression.
- Solving problems and managing recovery plans in case of damaged goods or manufacturing delays with the suppliers and the project team.
- Ensuring that the suppliers’ schedules are aligned with our internal requirement.
- Taking part in the Kick-off and Inspection meetings throughout the project duration.
- Coordinate the goods delivery with the logistics groups.
- Developing and implementing new processes to improve internal work efficiency.

As a Document Controller, you will oversee the following tasks:

- Managing the revision and distribution of technical documentation workflow.
- Maintaining an efficient document management system to ensure accessibility of documents.
- Coordinating document validation, approval, and modification processes supported by the documentation management system.
- Providing support to internal and external teams regarding documentation
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth communication and effective exchange of documents.

**What you bring to Sulzer**:

- 2-3 years of experience in Quality, Procurement or Manufacturing, or a similar field.
- Expertise as an Engineer or Technician, with a level of apprenticeship.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on problem-solving, time management, and adaptability.
- Skills in MS Project and Excel; proficiency in another tool like SAP or M-Files is advantageous.
