We are looking for a brilliant and experienced Director Production to join our growing team. The Director Production will be responsible to provide Leadership to a team of highly skilled managers, engineers and support staff in the industrialization, production and supply of ADVA’s cutting edge range of Atomic Cesium clocks.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership to Neuchâtel operations functions of; industrialization, production, supply chain and logistics functional teams associated with Atomic clock production and delivery.- Coordinate a highly flexible internal and external manufacturing capability for the production of a continually evolving product range.- Ensure the correct balance of inhouse and external production is employed to optimize the use of Neuchatel core production, explore and implement extended workbench concepts to gain additional production capacity utilizing global ADVA production locations and global EMS partners.- Enhance and develop a robust supply base, work with key technology suppliers to ensure continual quality and cost targets are understood and achieved. Use the wider ADVA supply and quality organization and own contacts to extend the current supply base to achieve cost reduction and robustness in supply.- Foster a continual improvement culture within the team striving to continually improve product quality, material cost, increased productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.- Collaborate with local Neuchatel R&D teams in the definition of road map for next generation Cesium products, ensure capability is in place to deliver products to the required volumes and cost targets.- Responsible to ensure compliance to local and international requirements for safety and other industry standards.- Budgetary control for all production and industrialization function within Neuchatel.

**Requirements**:
- Experience in management of high skilled operations team.- Engineering degree level preferably in mechanical design or material science.- Minimum 5 years in a senior management role with budgetary responsibility.- Experience in high precision, low volume manufacturing environment, preferably involving micro mechanical and/or vacuum technology.- Structured approach to end to end process development and control.- Appreciation of material & supply chain management, production planning & supplier management.- Neuchatel site based with requirement for some national and international travel.- Demonstrate a high level of ownership and urgency.- Innovative, proactive and highly motivated personality.- Business fluent English & French language capability in written and spoken.- Global travel readiness.
