Job Description:
Mission:
The Global Program Director will be responsible for developing, leading, tracking, and controlling defined strategic and complex projects in Technical Operations. The Global Program Director is accountable for the entire program's execution (i.e. project delivery within agreed-upon Objectives, Quality, Timelines, and Cost targets), and will serve as the liaison between all internal and external functional teams. The Global Program Director will align with the steering committee and stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
- Define and create (and cross-functionally align) compelling end-to-end plans for projects and programs to achieve defined goals.- Accountable for the program's proper execution. Lead and drive successful programs in accordance with agreed-upon plans, quality, timelines, and costs by deploying appropriate management tools and expertise.- Working closely with the other departments involved, he or she identifies potential obstacles, develops, and implements solutions, with the steering committee's approval when necessary.- Proactively review and approve changes in scope within his/her authority, preparing justification and presenting to the Steering Committee for guidance or decision as needed.- In accordance with Management, sign off on major deliverables to proceed to each project phase.- Main streams leads will manage their respective budget and forecast. Required Experience & Competences:
- Degree in Engineering, Pharmacy or university degree in related scientific fields (chemistry, biology)- 10+ years of experiences in Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing or, Engineering and Project Leadership- Experience in Program and project management- Good knowledge of various types of pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies- Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence and work across organizational boundaries- Excellent communication skills, and command of English- Structured working style and good at keeping an overview- Take responsibility and make things happen

Your new team:
You will be part of the Global Manufacturing team, a network of 14 manufacturing sites spread across 12 countries. You will be based in Saint-Prex, Switzerland, and will travel to the various plants on a regular basis. The Global Manufacturing team is part of the Global Technical Operations (TechOps) organization, and this role will report to the Senior Vice President Global Manufacturing Network. The Program Director will work closely with other departments within TechOps as well as the manufacturing sites.
