In Schiltigheim, near Strasbourg, our shared services center thrives with over 100 professionals managing Finance and Operations/Customer Service. Our distribution center in Cambrai ensures swift delivery to customers, while our 30+ Columbia stores adorn major European outlet centers. Finally, the Sales and Trade Marketing teams are displayed in 3 regions across Europe, close to their customers and markets.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Content team is part of the e-Commerce department and manages the creation of all onsite & offsite content for Columbia & Sorel brands. The department includes 14 people and is split into 3 teams: Marketing (Acquisition & Conversion), Content, and Buying.
The Content team's goal is to communicate to our consumers and visitors our brand values, as well as the seasonal initiatives by providing the best onsite experience but also across all other channels, for 2 brands, in 10 countries, and in 5 different languages.
Accomplishing this goal will require our team to create various types of content following the seasonal onsite calendar, as well as working closely with the e-Commerce Marketing team to help them achieve their objectives.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Following some internal promotions and moves, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Copywriter to join the team and take full ownership of the copywriting creation.
As the e-Commerce Copywriter, you will be the voice of Columbia and Sorel brands across our European e-Commerce business. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to take the lead in creating compelling copy and leveraging your creative talents to tailor and deliver the perfect message to our European consumers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing the translation process from British English to four different languages (German, French, Spanish, and Italian) in collaboration with freelancers.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
- You embody the tone of voice for Columbia and Sorel brands in Europe, following guidelines from Global HQ
- You handle the copywriting of all onsite needs in British English: homepages, banners, content pages, corporate pages, product copy
- You work closely with the SEO Specialist to internalize SEO copywriting and accelerate new projects
- You lead the translations of the copy in 4 languages and coordinate the different freelance translators
- You lead the product copy creation by collaborating with the Brand Marketing & Web merchandising teams to provide the best detail level of product description across seasons
- You cultivate strong relationships with other departments to ensure synergy and consistency in our brand communications
- You participate in other team duties like testing and other needs

YOU HAVE
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in copywriting and content creation for e-commerce/marketplace businesses, whether in-house, at an ag
